About Calgary-Glenmore
Calgary Glenmore encompasses the neighbourhoods of Braeside Cedarbrae Palliser, Pump Hill, Bayview, Oakridge, Haysboro and Southwood. We will soon be welcoming Lakeview, Eagle Ridge Kingsland, Chinook Park and Kelvin Grove. We will also be saying a sad farewell to Southwood who will be moving into the Calgary Acadia Constituency.
Calgary Glenmore is a bright and vibrant community containing an amazing array of not just people, but plants and animals too! Glenmore Park divided into North and South includes the Weaslehead Natural Area , the Glenmore Reservoir which supplies our City’s drinking water and sailing and canoeing clubs just to name a few. The Variety Children’s Park, a playground and water park area designed with disabled children in mind, is also available for Summer time fun!
Heritage Park Brings us back to our roots with an exciting and significant story of Western Canada’s settlement. Travel back in time from the 1950’s to the 1860’s and engage in our past and they bring history to life with lively costumed interpreters, historic buildings and a huge collection of working antiques and artifacts. You can even take a turn at making butter the old fashioned way!
Round that all off with Community Gardens, skating rinks and world class tennis courts… we have it all. Calgary Glenmore “the” place to be!
